FONDIMUR is specifically designed as both a high performance thin base coat render and for bonding and levelling EPS insulation panels for EWI systems on low rise buildings both as a retrofit application onto existing sound render, brickwork etc or for new build substrates e.g. concrete blockwork.

Subject to a suitable substrate e.g. render board, new concrete blockwork, EPS insulation panels can be adhesively only fixed using a full bond, notched ribbon technique with the FONDIMUR.

When adhering Mineral Wool / Stone Wool or Wood Fibre insulation panels, supplementary mechanical fixings are also required to secure the insulation to the substrate.

When bonding EPS insulation panels to old substrates e.g. render, paint etc use the FONDIMUR as an adhesive combined with mechanical fixings.

FONDIMUR is specifically designed for EPS EWI and render board systems and also can be used on new masonry substrates and for renovating existing surfaces e.g. render, paint etc in preparation to receive a new thin coat top coat finish e.g. REVOMUR M, CRÉPISIX M, CREPOXANE.

When used as a base coat or for render board joints, FONDIMUR must be reinforced with the AVN MESH.
