*Please Note: These colours have a solar absorption coefficient greater than 0.7 – meaning they absorb over 70% of incident solar radiation—primarily leading to significant thermal gain (heating up the substrate) and accelerated material degradation. These colours can be ordered in the Sun+ colours range to provide enhanced resistance to UV fading which is particularly suitable for elevations exposed to full sun. The Sun+ colours are available for all ready to tint renders, coatings and paints and bagged renders but come with a cost surcharge. Before specifying or ordering please ask for the cost of this.

Darker colours with a solar absorption coefficient greater than 0.7 must not be used with EWI insulation systems. These include colours Auvergne, Belfast, Caucase, Cuba, Étretat, Vancouver and Mexico.

**This colour is only available with PRB products ALG, Oze & Thermolook

Colour Vert D’Aubrac is only available in the Sun+ colour range.

The bit we need to make you aware of:

Please note: Render materials are produced from natural materials therefore colour samples are for guidance purposes only. Despite our best efforts, the sample colour provided should be considered as indicative and the shade may vary slightly when applied to the substrate. Variations in shade, due to weather, site conditions, application techniques, orientation of the building and methods of construction should be expected.

Colour/shade will also vary depending on the type of finish selected and the volume of water used when mixing the product. Spray applications particularly a textured application will generally increase the depth of colour.

Please be aware: If two different products of the same colour are used on a building because the substrate type requires different products to be used e.g. SUPERBRUT for a masonry substrate and THERMOLOOK for an EWI or render board system, the same finish is likely to appear as slightly different shades, particularly if viewed on the same elevation and the same line of facade. This is because the two products will be produced differently, requiring different water contents and will generally have been applied at different times, therefore a difference in shade must be expected. If you require any further guidance regarding this please contact the PRB Technical Department technical@prbsystems.co.uk.

Prior to commencement on site, it is recommended that a test panel is produced, allowed to dry fully, before inspection and approval by the client, customer, architect etc. so that they may satisfy themselves with the finish, texture, colour, and appearance of the render.
